Video, Television, Anticipation / Presentation of the the video art anthology

The National Gallery of Macedonia published in 2005 an anthology “Macedonian Video Art 1985-2005”, consisting of twelve video pieces produced by Macedonian authors. Curated by: Evgenija Teodosijevska.

Izložba Video, televizija, anticipacija povezuje radove iz nekoliko proteklih decenija (od kraja sedamdesetih godina do početka 2000-tih), od borbe za širenje polja umetničkih intervencija, radikalnih praksi jugoslovenskog kino-amaterizma i alternativne kulture 1980tih; izložba predstavlja i neki vid anticipacije, odnosno evociranja (pred)osećanja budućnosti umetnosti i medij videa, rekonstrukciju horizonta kakav je bio dok se video kao medij upuštao u različite istraživačke i agonističke odnose sa televizijom, shvatajući je kao formativni medij ističućeg dvadesetog veka.
